Submitting Proposals for Presentations
People wishing to give presentations at the Annual Conference are invited to submit abstracts of their proposals to the ASPSI Program Committee for consideration. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 1st. November before the conference in the following spring. At each annual conference the time, place and theme title of the next year's conference is decided by ASPSI, and those details are published on this site shortly afterwards.
The Academy’s Program Committee seeks presentations that are academically significant, serious, coherent and creative, and that combine aspects of paranormal studies and spirituality. Proposals may, for example, address field or laboratory research, clinical topics, or other topics dealing with methodological, historical, experiential, or theoretical issues.
To submit a proposal, please send a copy of:
- the abstract for the presentation
- the anticipated bibliography of primary sources
- an outline of up to 500 words of a paper on the proposed presentation, and
- biographical information
to the Program Committee Chairman, Boyce Batey, at the address shown below. Please contact Boyce if you have questions or need more information about submitting proposals and/or the annual conference. He can also be reached by phone and email as shown below.
