There is a particular phenomenon that happens fairly often among both astrologers and those who follow astrology closely. I warn against it all the time but I am prone to that sort of thing myself on occasion.
I’m referring to looking at the transits, and getting in a panic over the potential for trouble. That’s understandable. We want to see these things coming, but it’s easy to forget that if you’re having a lousy day, that someone, somewhere is probably having a very good day — and they are experiencing the same placements in today’s Zodiac as you are.
I’ve done my best with this week’s forecast to filter out any negativity. But undoubtedly some of it will slip through. Please forgive me in advance. And when you’re reading this, please try to maintain a level head.
Somewhere to the south of where I’m sitting right now is a large and well-known country. It’s accomplished a lot in the past 200-plus years. They’ve landed people on the Moon; they’ve created the world’s loudest and most expensive movies; and they came up with something called pulled pork, which is delicious — but frankly, I haven’t figured out which part of the pig you pull to get it from.
The place is also, to be honest, pretty heavily armed. It has a reputation for being the sort of place where a person can pop off and do some really serious damage, with equipment readily acquired from a local shop. It’s not really the sort of place you want to lose your temper in. Despite the fact that many people in this country do seem to be perpetually angry at others about something or other all of the time.
When it comes to anger, we need to look at the planet Mars. Mars is now spending its last full week in areas where it is strong and fiery and ready to cave some heads in, at least figuratively speaking. Now I know that you are a gentle and sensible person and would never go off on anyone who didn’t absolutely have it coming to them. The problem with that is that Mars is spending the tail end of its trip through the sign of the ram in a square aspect to Pluto.
Although that aspect is exact on Friday, it will influence all of this week and much of the following week. This is particularly noteworthy when you consider that on Saturday, Mercury square Neptune is exact. And to be honest, this is not the world’s greatest aspect for clear thinking or logic.
So there we have it. We’re building up to a big party weekend. And everyone appears to be locked and loaded for something to potentially go off. I hope no one down there is particularly upset about any recent major legal decisions or anything…
