Love Horoscope for the Week of June 20

Love Horoscope for the Week of June 20

If you are the type of person who is comfortable living in their feelings and expressing them, congratulations! On Tuesday, the Sun enters the sign of Cancer. All else being equal, this means that it will be easier to express your affections and concerns and worries — and with this time of year, “affections and concerns and worries” will happen plenty. Let us strive to be more gentle with each other.

As for romance, there is also a significant tonal shift this week. Venus in Taurus has allegedly been a good placement, but to be honest with you, I find it sometimes a little too slow to move and a little too concerned with getting the best possible bang for its buck. Do I dare call it a little high maintenance? Anyway, if you prefer your romance to be on the more fun and light side, on Wednesday Venus enters Gemini and delivers the goods. In theory, this may not be as strong a placement as Venus in Taurus, but in practice, it can be a lot easier to work with. And yes, because Gemini is involved, feel free to make up your own joke about talking people into things, chatting someone up, talking a good game, and so on.

How many of you like your love lives to be more action-packed than that, though? This is where Mars comes in — and Mars is in an interesting place this week. It’s still in Aries, which means that it is filled with all that juicy firebrand Ram energy that Mars loves. Like last week, Mars is relatively unaspected by other planets this week. So in a sense, it is free to run loose and do what it wants…. common sense (and possibly your pants) be damned! However, Mars is approaching an interesting place — and I think it is my duty to prepare you for it.

In the coming weeks, Mars in Aries will be interacting with both Saturn and Pluto in potentially either useful or destructive ways. And let’s be honest here: you probably have obstacles or situations in your life that need to be confronted and dealt with head-on. The timing of when you enact such action is crucial. And you’ll all want to come back here next week and hear what I have to say about the very interesting stretch that Mars is about to deliver to us.
